The weekend came and went too quick!

So Drai got to come home for a couple days, since it was the holidays. I was so happy he got to come home. We really didn't do much, we just hung out with eachother. Except he brought home his cold and I have been sicker than a dog these last few days! My brother came up for a couple days as well since he had some days off. And some of Drai's family came up. Neveah got to see her cousin Lennon, she had so much fun! Then came Sunday and Drai had to head back to Colorado :( But he will be back on the 10th (just in time for Supercross!) It stinks though because Tomorrow (New Year's Eve) is our 7th anniversary of being together, and he won't be here with me. Boohoo. Here are a few pics of the weekend:

Been so bored...

So it's going to be a week tomorrow since Drai's been in Colorado. I have been bored to death! I am missing him like crazy. Less than a week left until he gets home. Yay! He gets to stay home for 3 days then has to go back and he will be back by Jan 10th since we have Supercross!! Can't wait. I am hoping after that he won't have to go back but if he does he will probably be out there for a month :( Ugh that will stink. But we will see what happens.
Neveah has had a bad cough these last couple days, I haven't gotten much sleep! I get my insurance next month so I am going to have the dr get an x-ray of her lungs. I don't like that she is getting a cough very regularly. It is so bad she throws up all night long! My poor baby. My uncle has a lung disease from an infection in his lungs from a little boy that went uncured. I want to make sure Neveah doesn't have anything. The dr is treating her for asthma, but they never x-rayed her lungs to make sure, so I need to get them checked.
My niece is coming soon! It is so excitting! I unfortunately don't get to fly out and see her since I am so broke! It breaks my heart!! I want to see her so bad! I know she will be beautiful though. I am sure my mom will take tons of pics so I will get to see those. It's not the same as seeing her in person but I am hoping I will get to see her shortly after. These 9 months went by so fast! Can't wait to be an auntie.

What will I do??

So the construction field is horrible here right now! Since that is what my husband does, we have been hurting a little bit. He got a call yesturday that he has work in Colorado!! He leaves tomorrow morning! Not to sure what I am going to do with out him! Besides for training for work 5 years ago I haven't been a part from him for more that a few hours!!!!! Don't know what to do with myself. But at this point we will take what comes our way. I recently signed up for psychology classes! I am excitted to start that. It has always intrigued me! I am doing good in my paralegal and success classes. Got A's thank goodness!! Almost done with the first set of classes. Jan 9th is the last day! Woo-hoo! Besides that not too much going on. Neveah had a bad day the other day at school. Got a phone call from the nurse, Some boy kicked her down and she hit her head on the concrete! Than not even an hour later I get another call some boy hit her in the mouth with a shovel of sand, Busted her lip! Not to mention she got a nice mouthful of sand! Kids I tell you!! I have been telling her the next kid to hit her she has to hit them back! Makes me mad they pick on her all the time! My poor baby girl!

Although we don't celebrate Thanksgiving but we all had the day off, my brother came up and we just all hung out! It was a lot of fun! Although I missed my sister-in-law being there very much. It was a good, relaxing day! We watched movies, nothing better on a cold, rainey day! Neveah played with her Uncle Memo, she had fun! I love my family, they really are the greatest! Wednesday night we had such a bad thunderstorm and lots of rain!! When the thunder would hit the house would shake it was so bad!! The pictures on my walls were shaking and even my bed. I hated it! Felt like an earthquake. haha. But I do love the rain!!!

So Neveah caught that cold that is going around but is getting better, but since she has asthma it takes longer to get rid of her cough!! Ugh. I went to the valley this weekend to stay at my brothers house and met up with my friend Erin. We hung out at speedworld, (where by the way the people working it and some of the people there are very childish and unfair!! Grow up!) went out to eat and did a little shopping. I had so much fun!

Update....

So I haven't been up to much lately. Just doing my schooling which is going well! I was not doing so hot in one of my classes but I raised my grade from a low D!! Aww, to a high B, Yay!! Aiming for an A, hopefully. I am working at the bank again! I am glad to be back though!! Babysitting is just not my thing. I give props to the people who can do that! 8 more weeks until my niece Kaylee comes into the world! Can't wait until the day I get to meet her! Hopefully sometime soon after she is born! Drai and I just had our 6 year wedding anniversary, at the end of last month! Wow times flies! We hung out that day and went bowling for our date, I got a necklace and charm from my mom, dad, and Drai. I love it! I got him supercross tickets for this year! Can't wait. We are taking Neveah with us for the first time also! She is going to love it! Neveah is doing good as well. Getting bigger everyday!!

Happily Ever After....

So last night my long time friend Brette and her boyfriend Nic got married! After 6 years of dating!! It was a beautiful wedding. I wish them all the best and happiness in the world.

And at her wedding I got to see one of my friends, Breanne, I haven't seen since highschool!!! It was so nice to run into her again. She is now married and having baby #2. She looks as happy as can be! I am definately going to keep in touch with her.

Through out the wedding process I got to meet Rafelle. She is such a blast and total sweetheart. Me and Drai had so much fun!! Drai got to see his cousin and some old friends it was nice. In the top picture below, Me, Drais cousin Jay and my friend Breanne. The one below that is Drai and his friend Forrest.
I love weddings! It was beautiful!! And next week will be mine and Drais 6 years anniversary!! Time flies when you have fun!! To many more!!!

After so many years...

Since I have started a MySpace I have gotten in contact with many old friends. I am so thankful because I have gotten to reunite with many after so many years!! On Monday I went to see my friend Erin that I haven't seen in about, I would say 8 years. It was so much fun!! It seemed as if it was never that long! She had lived in Japan for a couple years and just got back! I know we will for sure keep in touch and I will be seeing her more often. I guess after all this time being apart with so many people and losing contact and they come back into my life means that we will always and forever be friends!

So yesturday I asked Neveah if she ate all her lunch at school, Since she has been eating thier food. She told me how gross it was and so on, so I continued to asked her how she gets it, if she pays there or what, just to see what she says, because I just put money on her account number they give each student, but she told me she gets her lunch with her "good looks"!! Hahahahaha!! I thought that was too funny so I said, "Oh so me and daddy can go eat there with our good looks too?" And she replied, "No, they'll make daddy pay." She is too funny!!!!!

Going back to school!!

So I am very excitted! I decided to go back to school! With the way things are going in the job world today I decided to go back and get a degree. I will be starting Criminal Justice classes in about a month to get my degree in paralegal. I am very excitted, but it has been so long since I was in school, I am a little nervous, but it will be good for me. I can't wait. And the best part is, when I finish they find me a good job!! Can't wait to better my future!! My little princess is what makes me want to move forward with my career to a better life!!

Our California Trip!!

So we got back from our trip to California a week ago. It was such a blast!! LEGOLAND wasn't too excitting, but the stuff they make out of legos is amazing! The beach, San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld were so much fun!! Besides the fact that I got a little sunburnt and walked soooo much! I definately want to go back soon!!

Although things seemed to be going bad we forgot about everything and had a great time! It was such an enjoyable trip!

A much needed vacation...

So we are getting ready to take a family vacation on Friday! YAY!!!! We are going to California to some theme parks! Plus it will be fun because my friend Stevi and her family are going also. I am rushing to get everything ready, plus there has been some issues going on that I have been stressing over!! Why does it seem like when it rains, it pours?? It seems like things get worse and worse, and I hate it!! I try not to stress or think about it, but it is a little hard! I am hoping to have a good time in California but we will see. It will either be good or a total disaster. Wait and find out. I can't wait to go and try to have fun!! I will post pictures from our trip when we get back!

Boys, Boys, Boys...

When Neveah started school there was a little boy that was picking on her. Well last night she came and told me that little boy Kissed her!!! I didn't like hearing that at all. LOL. But boys will be boys! So I asked Neveah what she did when he kissed her and she said she pushed him away and said " Don't kiss me I'm not your girlfriend!" I thought that was too funny! I hope she continues to push them away as she gets older! Haha.

Oh boy, I am in trouble....

So today I started my babysitting job. And my daughter found out that I was watching her friend. She has been acting like she is coming down with a cold all weekend but today before school she said if she called me if I would go pick her up so she could come home and play with her friend. I told her no she had to go to school and she could play with them after. Not even an hour later I get a call from the nurse saying Neveah was not feeling well and didn't want to go back to class, so my friend watched the kids while I ran up the street to pick Neveah up and when she came into the office first thing out of her mouth was "where are my friends?" That is when I found out how sneaky she was already!! I am in trouble. Just in Kindergarten and she already knows how to get out of going to school!!LOL.

I am having a NIECE!!!

So today I just found out my brother and sister-in-law are having a girl! Another beautiful baby girl coming to the family! YAY!!! This is going to be one blessed baby to have such great parents, because both of them are beautiful people inside and out!! I have always looked up to my brother and I would say I turned out pretty good! Lol. So if this little baby grows up to be like them they have done a good job! They are the best! I am so happy for them! Can't wait to be an aunt!!

I have come to Realize...

I have come to realize it is not worth stressing over the small stuff in life. As long as I have my family, a roof over my head and food in our belly's I am happy. Anything else really doesn't matter. Worrying about the small stuff may only cause you to lose everything!!! You have to appreciate everyday and everybody in your life. I have come to realize that there are so many out there that have nothing or are dealing with issues a lot worse! People that would give anything to have food to eat everyday, family or a roof over there heads and even good health and here we are wanting things that really don't bring happiness to our lives. I have come to realize that I am going to live everyday I am given. I am not going to plan too far ahead in the future and set too high of dreams because you may be setting yourself up for disappointment, instead strive to better everyday and be happy. I am not saying I am not going to strive for anything, but I am not going to strive for things that truely don't bring happiness. Putting my faith in God's hands and I know he will take care of me. Learning to appreciate what I have because everything given to me is a blessing. I am so grateful for my life and everyone in it!! Move forward and don't dwell over things of the past because you will never take one step ahead instead you are always taking two steps back. Forget things and go forward with your life. It is called the past for a reason. One of my favorite quotes, " When one door closes another one opens, but we often look so long at the closed one that we don't see the one that has opened for us." Make sure you look for open doors, and make the best out of lifes crazy ride.
